Our Summer Program Is...
Our summer program is a great way to ensure your child stays active and engaged during vacation while still having fun. Our daily themed activities, swim lessons, and field trips are thoughtfully planned to ensure your child has a fun and fulfilling summer. We also have in-house activities like bounce houses to enhance your child's summer experience. If you're looking for an experience your child will love, register for our summer program today! Our Summer Program Sessions...
Our summer program is divided into three sessions, three weeks each. +++ This year our first session is 4 weeks! +++ Each session is jammed packed full of activities and includes the following:
Session One: group swimming lessons, cost included in the summer activity session fee.
Session Two: Vacation Bible School, included in the activity fee, and Private Swim Lessons, cost extra.
Session Three: Out-of-school field trips, included in the activity fee, and Free Swim when possible.

Our Summer Program Includes...
Swim Lessons
Our Red Cross swim program led by a WSI emphasizes water safety and is taught to all summer students ages 3 and up. Our infant pool allows young children to explore the water safely and at their own pace. In addition to water safety, we begin to teach students core fundamentals of the four racing strokes: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly.
Field Trips
During the summer, out of house field trips are scheduled for 4-year-olds and older. Safety is our number one priority and all staff members have received intentioned, detailed training.
Periodically during the summer, our classes will participate in an in house field trip. Examples include: a reptile show, bounce houses, and a Main Street Theater character performance and book reading.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer, Step By Step runs a week long session of Group VBS, providing students with an opportunity to deepen their faith in a fun and creative manner. The Group VBS theme in turn becomes the summer's theme.

Daily Themed Activities
While the summer has an overarching theme, each week is also individually themed. During the week, each day classes participate in special themed activities. Examples include art projects, photo booths, class parties, and group games.
